Citrix Remote Receiver
- If you do not want to detect/install Citrix Receiver you can use the light version, with fewer features, in your browser. Use light version I agree with the Citrix license agreement.
- In Citrix Receiver 4.6 or earlier (except 4.4.4000), the CleanUp.exe will terminate all Citrix Receiver processes that are running on a server VDA / XenApp 6.x server and not just the current session running the cleanup. Run the following command from the command line interface to reset Receiver.

Open the Citrix Receiver Group Policy Object administrative template by running gpedit.msc. Under the Computer Configuration node, go to Administrative Templates Citrix Components Citrix Receiver DPI Select High DPI policy. Change the settings as required.

Objective
This article describes how to re-enable Audio Devices that are disabled because of a power crash or forced reboot of a Remote PC Endpoint.
Background
If a Remote PC endpoint is powered off or forced to reboot, all the audio devices are disabled when the reboot completes. The Audio Devices can be manually re-enabled and this action does not require administration authorization.
Instructions
Note: If the audio devices are disabled, the Speaker icon on the task bar will have a red X next to it.
Complete the following steps to re-enable Audio Devices that are disabled because of a power crash or forced reboot of a Remote PC Endpoint:
- Right-click on the Speaker and select Playback devices.
- In Sound screen, if No Audio devices are installed message appears, right-click in the box and select Show Disabled Devices, as displayed in the following screen shots:
This will show all Playback devices that are disabled:

- Right-click the required device and select Enable.
The device should now be enabled and function as expected.
